David M. Hunt
Senior Paralegal
Mr. Hunt joined the firm in June, 2004. His areas of responsibility cover the firm’s litigation regarding clients’ personal injury and insurance claims. This includes drafting trial briefs, arbitration statements and accompanying trial and arbitration submissions.
Prior to receiving his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Dickinson School of Law, Mr. Hunt earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Swarthmore College. He brings a broad range of legal experience to the firm, having worked as an associate with Ainslie & Schenck in Philadelphia, and South Central Pennsylvania Legal Services in Carlisle, PA, and as law clerk for judges on both the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and the Chester County (PA) Court of Common Pleas. In 1985, while still in law school, Mr. Hunt co-founded one of the first community dispute resolution programs in the nation.
In over twenty years in the legal profession, Mr. Hunt has established a track record of success in litigation, negotiation and dispute resolution. During this time, he has also achieved success in executive positions in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.
For the Firm’s personal injury and insurance practices, Mr. Hunt brings to bear a thorough knowledge of case law, practice and procedure. Adding healthy measures of patience, persistence, and a resilient sense of humor to his legal expertise, he is well suited to deal with insurers and treatment providers. Mr. Hunt holds professional memberships with the National Federation of Paralegal Associations and the South Jersey Paralegal Association.
Mr. Hunt resides in Hamilton Township, with his wife, Chris, and sons Andrew and Matt. He and his family are members of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Ventnor, where David and Chris are members of the choir. David also sings with the Murdock Meistersingers, in Ventnor. He and his wife are involved with several organizations dedicated to raising awareness and furthering research into autism. |
